| Advanced Coherent Technologies, LLC (ACT)'s experience lies in all aspects of environmental remote sensing beginning with modeling environmental processes and determining how those processes modulate incident light fields. We study how those modulations propagate to an observation point, and then determine the specifications of a sensor optimized to detect those modulations. We develop the mathematical algorithms needed to extract the information from the imagery in real time. Information extracted from remotely sensed imagery can range from harmful algal blooms (HABs) in the northern Atlantic, to the presence of a terrorist camp hidden in the interior of a jungle, to detecting whales prior to Navy SONAR training exercises.
